Malibest Resort

The hotel carpet is clean. The bathroom is so big but the water looks dirty and salty. It makes the body itchy and sticky. Will never repeat this hotel again. Maybe the location is good but not the room. My room water heater are not working and the maintenance takes too long to repair it. Just makes stress.

Our experience on the first day of arrival was very disappointing. We reached the resort by 7 PM, only to be told that they had only ground floor rooms left. These rooms were located right along a footpath and had no windows that could be opened. Stepping out of the room put us directly on the pathway and road—giving the feeling of staying in a slum. When I booked the room, it clearly showed a balcony and an upper-floor location. I raised the issue with the staff, but it was of no use. Eventually, I agreed to stay in the ground floor room for the first night, only after they assured us that an upper-floor room—matching the original booking—would be provided from the next day. As expected, they did give us the correct room the following day, which clearly shows that those rooms were available all along but had been given to someone else. The reception staff were extremely rude, speaking as if they were offering the rooms free of charge. I requested room service to help with our luggage since we were traveling with kids, but they asked us to wait 30 minutes. The service was terrible. To make matters worse, the toilet flush in the ground floor room was not functioning properly—it was nearly overflowing, and throughout the night, it made strange gurgling noises. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend staying here. The only positive aspect was the location, which is nice
